Reliance Academy
The Reliance Academy was established in 2005 as the foundation for the Reliance Group’s training and development strategy. With an emphasis on continuous improvement through cross-company collaboration and knowledge sharing, the Academy consists of training and development initiatives and learning materials.
Reliance has built on its strong links with Brunel University to create, deliver and evaluate the Academy.
Senior academics from Brunel have worked closely with Reliance management – using their knowledge and research capability to develop customised business education in the form of case studies, academic inputs and leadership exercises.
Excellence in Leadership days are the first stage in this long-term skills development programme. At these events, major customers, senior managers and representatives from Brunel University exchange ideas and discuss key issues such as customer care, self-management, leadership and continuous improvement. The events also provide a platform for the recognition of managers for outstanding contributions to employee and customer care.
