Reliance are market leaders in the provision of contract security

Reliance's business was started by Brian Kingham in 1973 when he identified an opportunity in the market for a quality manned security services provider. It has grown significantly to become an established market leader in the UK in the provision of contract security, facilities management, support services and business process outsourcing.

Having been quoted on the London Stock Exchange for over 20 years, Reliance was taken back into private ownership in August 2007.

Reliance is incorporated in England & Wales under registered no: 1473721 and operates almost exclusively within the UK.

Chairman's Statement 08/09

"Although adversely affected by world economic problems our markets are still seeing modest growth. Fiercely competitive conditions in the security manpower services market have contributed to reduced earnings. We are restructuring the delivery of security services streamlining processes and gaining greater cost effectiveness and customer focus. We have made good progress in technology applications and new business wins. Our pipeline of new opportunities in security services, facilities management and business process outsourcing is at record levels. We expect to see continued growth in new business wins."
