British Police Symphony Orchestra
Reliance is proud to sponsor the British Police Symphony Orchestra.
The BPSO consists of 85 members drawn from serving and retired police officers, police staff and family.
Now in its 17th year of music making, the orchestra has appeared at major venues throughout the UK and Northern Europe. It has given almost 100 concerts in which over 200 different works have been performed. The orchestra is a registered charity but performs frequently on behalf of other charities through which it has raised over £150,000 since its first appearance at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral in 1990.
Commenting on this important sponsorship, Dr. Timothy Brain, Chairman of the BPSO and Chief Constable of Gloucestershire Constabulary said: “The BPSO is delighted to be continuing the artistic partnership with Reliance. Thanks to Reliance’s support, we have been able to tour the UK with a range of exciting concerts with superb solo artists. The link with Reliance will enable us to further develop our concert and touring programme.”
