Offender Services Partnership
Reliance is a member of The Offender Services Partnership - a group of organisations in the private, not-for-profit and third sectors who have come together to meet the challenge of managing offenders to reduce crime and protect the public. In addition to Reliance, two other organisations are involved in this partnership – Crime Concern, Strode College and Tomorrow’s People.
Strode College
Strode College has delivered education and training to offenders in the South West for over 30 years. In 2003 it gained a Beacon Award for the delivery of oral communication courses in prisons and now employs over 330 teaching staff in 13 prisons delivering 156,000 teaching hours a day.
Tomorrow’s People
Tomorrow’s People is a specialist charitable trust which since its foundation in 1984 has been helping people out of long-term unemployment and homelessness into jobs and self-sufficiency. Over the last 22 years, Tomorrow’s People has helped over 400,000 people in their journey towards sustainable employment through the development of innovative and ground-breaking programmes to tackle unemployment, prepare for work and overcome financial barriers.
