Reliance Facilities Management promotes the ‘One Team’ philosophy where everyone works as a team in order to deliver the highest standard of service.   The ability to work well in a team is therefore an essential aspect of the job and something we specifically identify during the recruiting process.  People are encouraged to extend their skills so that they are able to assist in other aspects of the service and aid team members in completing their tasks.  Thus team working becomes a habit, helps keep motivation high and in turn results in exceptional individual and team performance.

It is our belief that the quality of the individuals within the organisation play the greatest role in delivering quality of service.  It is the investment in, and the training of these individuals to the very highest standards that facilitates excellence in service delivery.  As part of our commitment to training and development, we have achieved the new, higher standard, Investors in People status in recognition of our work.  

Our desire to strengthen our focus on people has led us to participate in two important government initiatives and earlier this year we signed up to the Learning and Skills Council ‘Skills Pledge’, a programme designed to further raise the competency standards of our people.

Reflecting the depth and breadth of our commitment to continuous improvement, and support in skills and personal development, we were honoured to be recognised by the Corporate Research Foundation and Guardian Newspapers as one of Britain’s top employers.
