Retail Security Officer required for a superstore based in Southport, Merseyside.
This is a full time position working 38 hours per week. Shift Pattern to be confirmed.
The pay rate is £7.00 per hour.
The ideal applicant will be:
• Experienced in Retail Security.
• Flexible.
• Able to work as part of a team and undertake any other duties requested.
• Display an outstanding level of customer service and dealing with difficult customers.
• Provide a safe working environment for shoppers and staff.
• Patrol shop floor, monitoring CCTV, operating radio systems. Prevent and deter shoplifters.
• Dealing with difficult customers.
• Well presented with a professional image to customers at all times by being courteous, punctual and well presented with excellent communications and writing skills.
• Display the highest standard of personal presentation to maintain the image of Reliance and the customer.
Applicant must have:
• A full checkable 5 year work history in line with BS 7858:2006 requirements.
• A valid Passport. A valid Visa (if applicable, accompanied with a Home Office letter).
• Official proof of NI.
• Official proof of address from the last 3 months (Utility bill / bank statement).
• You will be subject to a consumer credit check.
• You may also be required to undergo a Criminal Records Bureau Check (CRB) / Police National Computer Check (PNC).
SIA Licence is preferable but not essential. This is an excellent opportunity to work in the security industry and achieve support in obtaining your SIA licence.
