Reliance works in close partnership with Borders & Immigration Agency (BIA) delivering transport services for Immigration Officers. We also offer a range of solutions to the Borders and Immigration Agency (BIA) for the comprehensive care and management of immigration detainees. We can demonstrate managed services that are of the highest quality and yet which are efficient and responsive. All our contracts are delivered within the requirements of statutory legislation.

Our services are delivered according to our customers' strict requirements. All our staff are specially trained to exhibit pro-social behaviour when dealing with offenders, and undergo enhanced Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) checks. Our vehicles are modern and comfortable, and display no identifying marks.

Detention officers

Reliance was one of the first private companies to provide private sector detention officers, we now employ almost 2,000 people involved in the movement and custodial care of detainees. Reliance transports and cares for around 250,000 detainees every year, involving the management and provision of approximately 400 specialist vehicles and operating two regional control rooms 24 hours a day.

Our People

All Reliance officers involved in detainee welfare or transportation undertake a six week Home Office approved training course and undertake enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks. At the heart of the "Reliance Difference" is a culture of continuous improvement and a passion for operational excellence.

Vehicles

Vehicles assigned to contracts can be fitted with GPS tracking equipment, this allows for constant monitoring and time management of deliveries.
