Reliance provides officers for the management of detainees at court, these skills are transferable for the supervision of offenders either in prison or released on licence and attending accredited programmes or unpaid work programmes.
Prison
On behalf of NOMS, the Scottish Government and a number of police authorities, Reliance already manages the detention and processing of over 640,000 detainees per annum. All our staff undergo a six week, Home Office approved, training programme and are fully CRB checked before commencing work with us. We therefore offer a wide range of options to the prison service for the management of detainees in longer-term detention facilities.
Court Custody
Outside the police service, we employ over 780 officers who provide custody management at 350 Crown, County and Magistrates Courts in England & Wales and High, Sheriff and District Courts in Scotland.
Probation
Reliance can provide services for the management and supervision of offenders while carrying out Unpaid work or accredited programmes.
