Reliance’s secure storage solutions currently provide police forces a service of managing/operating their Productions, Evidential, Filing and Lost & Found Stores. By providing either a district or force-wide service Reliance Secure Storage Solutions can provide considerable savings in the time that operational officers have to spend in the property store processing data. At the same time we can manage the whole lost and found process, improving local public relations and reducing the volume of items in storage. Proactive functional management is the key to rationalising the volume of storage, increasing officers operational time and improving the quality of data held against all items in store.

Cleveland Police Property Management

Our partnership with Cleveland Police has established the UK's first outsourced force-wide property management solution. This integrates into a single service the management of evidence collection across Cleveland, delivering evidence to court for police officers and disposing of property in line with agreed protocols. Operating costs are being reduced and improvements made to extend lost property opening hours and access for Cleveland’s citizens.

Kent Police

A similar service to Cleveland’s will start in Kent for the Northern division of Kent Police, once our latest PFI build is completed next year in Northfleet. Read more
