Our Foundation

Reliance Secure Task Management Ltd - incorporating Reliance Custodial Services, Reliance Medical Services Ltd, Reliance Resource Solutions Ltd and Reliance Care Services, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Security Group.

The company was initially formed as Reliance Custodial Services in 1994 specifically to enter the market created by the Government's decision to privatise a number of key tasks, principally the transportation and safe custody of detainees to and from law courts. Subsequently, further Home Office contracts developed that did not fall within the scope of custodial services but did require a high degree of security management and awareness. In recognition of this wider position the company name was changed to Reliance Secure Task Management Ltd. Reliance Custodial Services then became a trading division of the company. More recently as new markets have opened up to us and we have been awarded contracts so new divisions have been added to the Reliance Secure Task Management portfolio.
