Reliance Medical Services has been created to develop integrated forensic clinical teams for police forces around the country. Reliance was the first private provider to propose and deliver a nurse based service for custody centres. Now, many police services are keen to develop the potential of highly trained custody nurses to deal with an ever increasing proportion of their forensic needs. Reliance's healthcare experience includes mental health patient transport and drug testing interventions.
