British Police beat Australians

On a damp and miserable evening (Tuesday 2nd October) The British Police met the touring Australian Police team at Imber Court, The Met Police sports ground in Esher, for a game of “Friendly” Rugby.

The game proved to be very physical and after a good start in the first half by the British Police, the Australians made a fight back to win second half. However the game, which had been sponsored by Reliance Secure Task Management and Macquarie (Bank of Australia), was finally won by the British Squad, 31 to 19.

The Australian Police team have already played Wales, Scotland and Ireland and this game brings the score to won 1; lost 3 for the Australians who have only beaten the Scottish team so far. Their last game is on Friday night ( 5th October) against the Metropolitan Police Rugby Team.
