People
Ensuring that all staff are carefully selected, CRB checked and appropriately trained is essential for both Reliance Care Services and our customers. All staff receive specialist training, enabling them to understand and respect patients' individual needs. Their training includes; First Aid, Infection Control, Inter-Personal Skills, Patient Assistance Techniques and Driving Skills, and we encourage input from our customers on matters such as Mental Health awareness, before commencing duties.

A dedicated service means that Reliance Care Services is able to go beyond basic transportation requirements and provide a higher level of customer care. Generally day-care patients are collected by the same staff each session leading to lowered anxiety for the patients.

Vehicles
Discrete vehicles allow for patient privacy, and are an illustration of our dedication to working with customers to ensure that mental health patients are treated as part of and not separate from the local community.

A number of specially adapted vehicles allow for the transportation of disabled, wheelchair or stretcher bound patients.

Utilising specifically designed routing technology and GPS mapping software Reliance Care Services is able to ensure that patients are only on the vehicle for as short a time as possible, further helping to reduce patient anxiety.
