Services from Reliance can go further than simply providing designated people and can include the provision and management of the storage premises themselves. A centralised storage facility which locates all property in one place and can greatly enhance the storage capacity and management processes. Space at individual stations can then be released for other frontline requirements.
A Property Management Service can incorporate everything from Narey files and court exhibit storage, to lost and found property management, cataloguing and safe storage of police interview video, cassette and CD recordings, storage or viewing facilities for town centre CCTV recordings, the collection of property from police stations, delivery of evidence to court and even its return to individuals in the community, plus the auctioning or correct disposal of unclaimed property. Alternatively the service can prompt individuals to collect their property form a central store, but offer extended opening hours to facilitate this.

Our Partnership with Cleveland Police through the PFI provision of two Divisional Headquarters has also seen us provide the first force-wide property storage management service for a UK Police Force. A similar service will operate for the Northern Division of Kent police upon the completion of their new Northfleet Police Station.
